Jeff and his crew did an outstanding job of installing new roof and gutters on my home. Peter was also very responsive during the initial process of scoping the work and providing a solid proposal. We used Matute to install a new roof and gutters. After shopping around for months, we settled on Matute because they offered a complete package at the best price. The roof was installed on time and in just one day. From start to finish, our sales rep Danny was on site to manage the project. Danny sent us pictures throughout the day to show us the different stages of installation. Whereas other roofers had told us we needed to replace all of the plywood, Danny took a cautious approach. He replaced only the plywood he considered to be subpar, saving us hundreds of dollars. The entire experience with Matute was hassle-free. Danny was knowledgeable, courteous, efficient, and thoroughly professional. We are beyond satisfied.

MATUTE ROOFING HANDS DOWN THE BEST ROOFING COMPANY OUT THERE!!! I had Pete come by and look at my roof. I was happy with the price with top quality materials and they gave me a very reasonable date (2 week wait)to do my roof and they did an AWESOME JOB! My property was spotless after my roof was done. I will use them anytime and would refer them to anyone. I am very pleased.

When Gene first gave me a quote, I asked myself, ‘How can it be this low?’. My friend (who used to be a contractor) said, ‘You get what you pay for’. Well, I got way more than I paid for. It turns out to be a bigger job than expected because all the sheathing had to be replaced. Gene kept me informed every step of the way explaining everything they were doing and why. They addressed all my concerns. They were a hard-working crew that did excellent work. The final bill was more than I had hoped for but way less than what I expected. You can’t go wrong hiring them.

Gene was the salesman and was honest. He didn’t try to upsell me anything, he actually talked me out from getting gutter guards. It took about two weeks to get to me with the rain and other jobs they had going on. Which seems reasonable as I wasn’t really in a rush anyways. They replace my roof in 1 day. Sure the clean-up could have been better but you can’t expect them to get everything.

Repair of my leaking asphalt roof was done on the next day. The crew showed up early on a Saturday and was finished shortly after lunch. While inspecting the leaking roof of the house Gene noticed that the 50-year-old roof of my detached garage needed replacing. He added that to the job and gave me a very reasonable estimate. Both jobs were completed on the same day by 2 pm. Complicating the leak repair was its location near installed solar panels. They were able to feather the repair up to the panels and after a 1.5-inch rainstorm today I inspected the attic and found it completely dry.

I was impressed from the first interaction with Gene, with his honest, straight-forward salesmanship and the effort to educate me on their overall roofing process and pros/cons of all the factors to be most cost-efficient. They were not trying to up-sell and instead focused on meeting the critical requirements specific to our roof, most effectively (talked me out of replacing gutters and fan). The job was set for 3 days later (based on suitable weather). The crew came very early, worked very efficiently, and finished the job the same afternoon. They were courteous and came across as experienced professional roofers. The cleanup was also very thorough. A great experience overall; Trustworthy roofers offering the best value for money and quality.
